![]() ![]() It's true that when i saw the default controls in Sundered i was taken a bit aback too, being used to games that depended largely on mouse usage. New players may want to play this with the remap for a better (in my opinion) experience. Still, i can't imagine having to deal with the bullet-hell there while also having to roll/cast all pressuring my left hand (mentally, not physically :P) Now i'm at the lightning boss and boy, it's second phase is hard as hell. I had trouble with the boss that summons warriors (i don't remember the name now) but i breezed through that one and the winter one after i remapped. So with the remap above you place these roles (positioning/moving and targeting) on the right hand, leaving the left hand to 6 functions now (attack, strong attack, power change left/right, power cast and roll). Since you cannot target with the mouse but with the movement keys, the movement keys play the role of the mouse (targetting) much more than attack/strong attack. Furthermore they leave 4 movement, 2 power changes, 1 power cast and 1 roll functions (to a total of 8 !!!) to the left hand. Reason? The default keys waste the right hand to only 2 functions (out of which only one at a time can be used, so one function - but still let's say they're 2). The game really transformed after the remap. However in this one you use roll quite frequently, and since there's no jumping spacebar is ideal). I personally play with those (not with the optionals, i just included them because Lshift is usually used for roll in games. What i would suggest (which is how i play it now and it's FAR easier).ĭefault F (/spacebar optional) for casting powerĭefault Spacebar (/Lshift optional) for roll That is to say, you don't need a mouse to play Jotun, just like in Sundered. So my input here may be dated, but after having finished Sundered (almost 3 times now) i found that Sundered's default key mapping is far better than Jotun's. ![]()
